Brake Fluids

Brake fluid forms an absolutely essential part of any high-performance or race brake system. It directly connects driver input at the brake pedal to the caliper pistons and pads. It is critical that high-performance and race brake fluids exhibit very high boiling points, absolutely minimal compressibility and last well, even under extreme conditions. At Powerbrake we have tested numerous leading brake fluids on the world market and have extensive experience working with high-level, race, rally and rally-raid teams that have run all popular race brake fluids. Based on this testing and experience, we have chosen to supply brake fluid from Endless Japan exclusively to our customers.

Endless RF-650

Endless RF-650 brake fluid is currently accepted to be one of the very best race brake fluids on the world market. It is specified and used by leading Formula-1, WRC, Dakar, Endurance and Touring Car race teams worldwide. Naturally, for a leading race fluid, the boiling points are very high (Dry: 323 deg C, Wet: 218 deg C) but these figures do not tell the full story. The RF-650 fluid exhibits extremely low compressibility, resulting in an unmatched brake pedal feel and feedback. It also offers class leading consistency and lasts longer than competitive race brake fluids - hereby requiring replacement less often than competitive fluids. RF-650 is fast becoming recognized as the leading race brake fluid on the market. Don't take our word for it. Try it in your race car and experience the benefits first hand. Recommended for any form of racing including circuit sprint & endurance racing, rally and rally-raid applications. Endless RF-650 can be used in any car that specifies glycol-based DOT3 or 4 brake fluids in the owners manual (i.e. most production cars sold on the world market over the past 3 decades).

Motul RBF660

(click here for pricing & availability)

Motul RBF660 is one of the top selling race brake fluids on the world market. It offers a good balance between price and performance. With very high boiling points (Dry: 325 deg C, Wet: 204 deg C) this fluid can be used for track day and race applications. The Motul RBF660 does not have the same fluid life as the Endless RF-650 above ad will need to be changed more frequently but it is more cost effective. A solid choice for enthusiasts or race teams that want a more cost effective race brake fluid than the Endless RF-650. Motul RBF660 can be used in any car that specifies glycol based DOT 3 or 4 brake fluids in the owners manual (i.e. most production cars sold on the world market over the past 3 decades).

Motul 5.1

(click here for pricing & availability)

Motul 5.1 is a 100% synthetic brake fluid with a high boiling point (Dry: 272 deg C). This brake fluid will be an upgrade on the factory-fill fluid in most street cars, 4x4's and SUV's, which generally have standard DOT 4 brake fluids with dry boiling points of around 235 deg C. We recommend Motul 5.1 brake fluid to customers driving high performance street cars or heavy 4x4's. Bleeding your brakes with Motul 5.1 will make a perceptible difference and will provide an additional safety margin under heavy duty braking conditions on the street. Motul 5.1 can be used in any car that specifies glycol based DOT 3 or 4 brake fluids in the owners manual (i.e. most production cars sold on the world market over the past 3 decades).
